|  On the 6th December 2011 the Ministry of Health approved the new rules of hospital design. February 2 of this year those rules were registered with the Ministry of Justice. Soon they will be published, reports TSN.
Sick-list can now be written by any doctor. Previously this option could be used only by local general therapists. Moreover medical institutions covered medical certificate only to those patients who are registered at the polling station of this therapist.
Now first of all it is resolved problems nonresident patients, and, besides, it is possible to be "officially" sick to those who choose the services of private clinics.
"This is a good decision, because in the capital, many patients are living without residence permits. Now they can easily get sick. A private practice doctors can spend more time on treatment, not to issue papers. But earlier a doctor came on call, prescribed bed rest, and if one could not get up, the doctor had to go to the main doctor of the clinics, write petitions and collect signatures to legalize recumbency patient. In this way time is spent very much "- said a member of the Association of Family Physicians Olena Zamkova.
The Ministry of Health wanted to allow all physicians to arrange hospital for a long time ago. Back in 2006, they prepared a draft order, but it was wrapped by Ministry of Finance, then it was an attempt in 2010, but financial department was again opposed.
