|  The newly appointed secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), Andriy Kliuyev, will now be engaged in more responsible and important job compared to that at the post of first vice prime minister, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said.
"This is a transfer to a more responsible, more important work in the field of the country's national security," he said in the Shuster Live TV show late on Friday.
The premier said that Kliuyev's main task at the new post is to take the work of the National Security and Defense Council to a new higher level.
"The NSDC is the highest council under the president, which is responsible for the development of strategy and national security, and Andriy Petrovych [Kliuyev] should take this work to a higher level," the premier said.
