| Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said that a mutually beneficial resolution of the gas conflict between Ukraine and Russia should be found soon.
"We are making very significant efforts in order to find, first of all, a mutually beneficial and mutually acceptable solution to this problem... The solution should be found, and it should be found in the near future," he said at a meeting with Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin in Kyiv on Monday, says Interfax-Ukraine.
Azarov drew Naryshkin's attention to the fact that Ukrainian industry is now paying $560 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas.
"This is a record price, and there's no price like it in Europe," he added. | | |
